Welcome to my world of professional experience. My name is Jessica Hosey, and I am a native of Charleston, South Carolina who received my Master of Science in Integrated Marketing from NYU in 2021. I also became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., while attending the University of South Carolina. Not only am I a media professional, but I also love to support Black-Owned businesses and plan to enhance my career through my passion for culture and community.

My career, passion, and mission resulted in creating The Black Marketing Experience. This was a way for Black entrepreneurs to learn from their counterparts as well as other Black marketing professionals. It was a virtual series in 2021 with the hopes of providing businesses with the marketing tools they needed to succeed.

I continue to highlight Black-Owned businesses through a dedicated Instagram page, @JESSYPUTMEON. I focus on reviewing Black-Owned businesses to help bring awareness to these brands. On the other hand, I provide business owners with marketing tips and tricks to help elevate their strategies.

Throughout my professional career, I have gained experience in many aspects of media from Video Production to Public Relations. I am currently working as a Marketing Consultant for HubSpot. Previously, I was an Intern at Praytell Agency, working with clients such as Sally Beauty, No Kid Hungry, and the Anheuser-Busch portfolio. I aim to create an environment that is truly inclusive and promotes the growth of marginalized people.
